What a weekly visit actually includes

Pool service is invisible when it is done right. Here is the work behind the flat rate, performed the same way on every route, every week.

01

Water chemistry test

Chlorine, pH, alkalinity and stabilizer read on site and logged.

02

Chemical balancing

Dosed to target on the spot. Chemicals are part of your monthly rate.

03

Brush walls and steps

The step that prevents algae rather than treating it after the fact.

04

Skim and vacuum

Surface debris cleared and the floor vacuumed as conditions require.

05

Empty both baskets

Skimmer and pump baskets cleared so flow stays where it should be.

06

Equipment inspection

Pump, filter and heater checked for early signs of trouble.

07

Filter pressure check

Rising pressure caught before it becomes a cleaning or a repair.

08

Photo service report

Sent after every visit, so you can see the work without being home.

Jairod James servicing a pool

The founder

Discipline is the service

I started Imperium Pools because a pool should never be something you have to think about. My background is military, with advanced technical training, and I run these routes the way I was taught to run everything else: to a standard, the same way, every time.

Before this I wrestled. I am an NCAA Division III national champion, and I train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as a brown belt, finishing top 12 in the world at purple belt in 2025. Competition teaches you that consistency beats intensity. Showing up the same way every week is what actually keeps water clear.

That is why I send a photo report after every visit. You should not have to take my word for it. You should be able to see the work.

Questions

Before you book

Am I locked into a contract?

No. All three plans are month to month. If the service is not what we said it would be, you are free to stop.

Are chemicals included, or billed separately?

Included. Your monthly rate covers the chemicals needed for normal weekly balancing. Some companies in San Diego bill these separately at $30 to $60 a month. We do not.

What happens if my pool turns green between visits?

That is what the Clear Water Promise covers. If the water goes cloudy or blooms between scheduled visits, we return and correct it at no additional cost.

How often do filters need cleaning in Santa Ana season?

Wind events load filters fast. Most San Diego pools need a filter clean two to four times a year, and more after heavy Santa Ana weeks. Pro includes two per year, Premium upgrades to quarterly.

Do I need to be home for service?

No. We need gate access, and for gated communities a code or a pass. Your photo service report shows exactly what was done while you were out.

Do you service saltwater pools and spas?

Yes. Salt systems are covered under all three plans, including cell inspection and chemistry specific to salt chlorination.
